The B is for Becca.
Before I picked up a jeweler's saw, I spent years on conservation and trail crews and as a wildlife research technician — which is a long way of saying I've spent most of my life outside, paying close attention to plants and animals. Now I put what I noticed into solid sterling silver, one piece at a time, from my bench in Maine.
No plating. No factories. No shortcuts. Just real silver and the wild things I can't stop looking at.
These hold an incredibly special place in my heart. These brass mussel shells are cast from a pair of mussels that I found on a small island off the coast of Maine. The island is located in Penobscot Bay, and has been part of my life since before I was even born.
Gold-filled earring wires.
Earring measures approximately 1 1/8” long (including earring wire) and about 3/8” across at the widest point.
Very lightweight!
NOTE TO BUYERS: All of my work is handcrafted from start to finish. This includes hand sawing the metal, soldering, filing, sanding, setting stones, polishing and finishing. Due to the nature of this work, no two items are alike and there may be small imperfections left behind from the creation process. While I feel this gives each piece an authentic, one of a kind personality, I just want to ensure that this is known before purchase. I hope that you love what you purchase and wear it often and for years to come.
