FREQUENTLY asked questions

How long until my order ships?

Orders will ship out within 1 week following order date. I do my best to get things out the door within 2-3 days but during busy times of the year it may take up to 1 week for orders to ship out.

it looks like you only offer USPS shipping. The post office does not deliver to my address. can you ship via UPS or fed-ex?

Yes! If this is something you need, please just reach out via the contact page and I am happy to ship via UPS or Fed-ex. Additional shipping charges will apply.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Currently, the only country I am able to ship to other than the United States is Canada. While this option is not currently listed on the checkout page, I am able to do this for an additional shipping fee. If you would like an order shipped to Canada, please send me an email via my contact page and we can make it happen! Please note that Canadian shipping will go through USPS as First Class international mail, taking 10-12 days to arrive depending on exact location. Please feel free to send me a direct email via my contact page with any questions!

Can rings be re-sized?

With a few exceptions, most rings can be sized up by a half size. Unfortunately, rings cannot be sized down.

I have very sensitive ears - what metal do you use for your earring wires/posts?

This is very dependent on the earring. All item descriptions include the metal used for the earring wire or post. Most post earrings use sterling silver posts, which are typically fine for mildly sensitive ears. For dangle earrings, I use silver, brass or steel, depending on the design. I am able to swap out most earring wires for a surgical steel earring wires upon request (just shoot me a message via the contact page), but I am unable to alter any earring posts. I currently cannot provide any wires or posts that are guaranteed 100% nickel free, so if you have a severe nickel allergy, I would recommend having a few of your own earring wires at home that you can swap out!

Do you take custom orders?

Customs are very dependent on what is going on during that particular time of year - this is always changing! If you are interested in a custom order please reach out via my contact page and let’s chat!

i’m worried about my jewelry tarnishing. What would you recommend?

The dreaded tarnish! As we all know, all metals will tarnish/oxidize over time (especially here on the east coast or anywhere else with higher humidity levels). Personally, I like the look of a slightly more oxidized piece of jewelry, but if you want to slow down this process, I would recommend avoiding continuous exposure to water, heat and sun. I would also recommend avoiding jewelry cleaner and chemical solutions as they may damage the metal. Try to store your jewelry in a cool, dry place. If you find your jewelry is beginning to tarnish, I recommend using a polishing cloth to help restore your jewelry and brighten it up. If the polishing cloth you use contains any polishing compound, follow up your polish with a quick rinse using a soft toothbrush, warm water and a drop of dawn dish soap. This will clean off any excess compound and leave your jewelry refreshed and clean. For brass and copper pieces, I also find that a dime-sized piece of fine grade steel wool (grade #0000) with a bit of tough love is great to get off some of the unwanted tarnish - however for this method, please keep in mind this will give the piece a slightly matte, brushed look. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions!
